Note: Some older models of the original K40A used the Light Blue Plastic. And some newer models use the dark blue but both cartridges are interchangeable.

• One cold water outlet feeds heating tank, displacing hot water into the spout
• Other cold water outlet connects directly to spout where it mixes with hot water
• Allows heating tank to be non-pressurized
